“Daniel Berrigan: Essential Writings,” by Daniel Berrigan, the Jesuit priest who in the 1960s became a peace activist, can be a bit tedious, but he is brilliant. The book, edited by John Dear, covers a wide range of topics, focusing on peace and justice, anti-war and civil disobedience.
